Elaf Badereldin is a Sudanese artist with a dynamic career spanning exhibitions, workshops, and art education. She has participated in numerous cultural events, including the Education for All Conference for Living Together (Ahfad University for Women, 2004), the Sudanese in Foreign Lands workshop (Sudan National Museum, 2004), and the Civilizations of Meroe and Aksum workshop (Sudan University of Science and Technology, 2005). Her engagement with African art is evident through her contributions to the African Art Workshop (French Cultural Center, 2006) and the Nile Basin Workshop(Sudan National Museum, 2007). In recent years, she has exhibited in group shows such as Butterfly Effect (French Cultural Center, 2020), Sudaniyat (2021), and Empower Her Art Forum (Egypt, 2023), as well as internationally in Orleans, France (2021). She also pioneered Sudan’s first virtual 360-degree panorama exhibition (Omdurman Cultural Center, 2021) and has worked on community initiatives like the Street Children Workshop (Burri, 2019).

A graduate of Sudan University of Science and Technology’s College of Fine and Applied Arts (Painting Department, 2007), Elaf combines her academic background with diverse professional experience. She has taught art in private schools and worked in interior design, decor, and textile printing, reflecting her multidisciplinary approach to creativity. Her work bridges traditional Sudanese themes with contemporary techniques, making her a distinctive voice in Sudan’s evolving art scene.
