Biography

Mohammad Siddig is a visual artist and sculptor, a graduate of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts with a Bachelor’s degree in sculpture, first class, in 2008. He is a member of the Sudanese Plastic Artists Union. He worked as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts during 2009-2010. He also worked as a collaborator in the Restoration Department of the Sudanese National Museum in 2010 – 2011, in addition to the Sudanese Ministry of Culture and National Theatre in the Decoration Department. He took part in many workshops, including the Beauty Through Your Eyes workshop, the Crossroads workshop, and the Violence Against Women workshop. Mohammed held a solo exhibition titled “Beyond the Myth: Daughter of The Nile” at Jaloos art space in 2023 and has participated in several group art exhibitions, including an exhibition at the British Council, the Sudanese Plastic Artists Union, an exhibition in Ethiopia and the Fez International Festival in Morocco, in addition to a solo exhibition at Papa Costa Gallery and Restaurant.
