Mohammed Brjass (Mohamedelmustafa Nagmeldin Hussein) is a Sudanese visual artist born on March 16, 1976. He holds a Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts, specializing in Graphic Design, from the Sudan University of Science and Technology, as well as a diploma in Computer Graphic Design, mastering programs such as Corel Draw and Adobe Suite. His training further includes advanced courses in Jewelry Design from the British Council Khartoum and Television Photography and editing from Khartoum Television.

Mohammed’s professional practice spans graphic design, painting, and photography, with his artistic exploration deeply rooted in the aesthetics and historical narratives of ancient Sudanese civilizations. His works frequently reflect his research into Sudanese identity, inspired by the unique cultural heritage of Sudan.

He has showcased his artworks in numerous solo exhibitions, notably at Rashid Diab Arts Center, the French Cultural Center in Khartoum, and the Nabta Center for Arts and Grant Gallery in Cairo. Mohammed has also actively participated in prestigious group exhibitions, including events at the Egyptian Opera House, Art Corner Gallery, TAM Gallery, and several exhibitions at Grant Gallery in Cairo, consistently highlighting his artistic perspective on Sudanese identity and culture.
