Hassan Musa

Biography

Born in Sudan in 1951, Hassan Musa is a prominent contemporary artist whose works have been exhibited at major art institutions worldwide, including the Centre Pompidou, MMK, the Smithsonian, MAAXI, the Mori Museum of Art, and the Venice Biennale.

Today, his work is part of significant public and private art collections. Trained at the School of Fine Arts in Khartoum, he also holds a doctorate in art history from the University of Montpellier, and is an art critic and writer.
