Biography

A professional visual artist who works and lives across multiple countries and is currently based in Cairo. I am a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, specializing in Painting and Arabic Calligraphy. My research interests focus on the history of art in Sudan, as part of the Early Stone Age Studies Program at the Center for Human Studies, University of Khartoum, under the Faculty of Archaeology’s postgraduate department.

  • Participated in numerous exhibitions inside and outside Sudan.
  • Former trainee in cultural management under the Ibara Program at the Culture Resource (Al-Mawred Al-Thaqafy).
  • Former cultural manager at Napta Center for Culture and Arts (Cairo).
  • Executive member of Al-Qasr Visual Art Group.
  • Cultural activist and advocate for children’s rights.
